How Bad is theo walcott's injury?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hopeful that Theo Walcott will return to action as early as Tuesday for the Champions League clash at Sevilla, after the initial fears that the rising star might have suffered a serious ankle injury have been allayed.

The 18-year-old was stretchered off against Wigan in the Premiership after suffering the injury in a challenge by Emile Heskey at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday prompting fears of ligaments damage.

However, the Gunners boss has claimed that the injury to the in-form England U-21 attacker does not look bad.

The French tactician said: "Theo does not look bad. The physio told me he had to come off straight away because he was numb as he had been kicked on the nerve. He twisted his ankle and we checked on a X-ray, and he looks all right."
